This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information related to our patient text-messaging program, operated on our behalf by Patrick Clinical OS LLC.
Information we collect. When you participate in our text-messaging program, we collect your mobile phone number, the content of messages you send us, and related information such as message timestamps and delivery status.
How we use it. We use this information to communicate with you about appointments, scheduling, rescheduling, administrative and billing questions, and follow-ups related to your care at Pure Relief Pain Solutions. Some messages you receive may be automated or AI-assisted; clinic staff oversees the messaging program.
What we do not do. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell your phone number or message content. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party for their own marketing.
Service providers. We use technology vendors (such as our messaging and software providers) to deliver this program. These vendors process information only on our behalf, under agreements that restrict their use of it, including agreements required by health-privacy law where applicable.
Health information. Messages exchanged with our office may relate to your care and are treated as protected health information under our privacy practices. Standard SMS text messages are not encrypted end-to-end and could potentially be viewed by third parties in transit. By participating, you acknowledge this risk and consent to communicate with us by SMS. You may opt out at any time. Please do not text detailed medical information; for clinical questions, call our office.
Your choices. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help or contact us at (512) 553-2818. Opting out of text messages does not affect your care or your ability to contact us by phone.
Data retention and security. Message data is stored in access-controlled systems and retained only as long as operationally needed, consistent with our record-keeping obligations.
